Barry’s Bay – This past Friday night the MV Wolves played host to the Shawville Pontiacs and came out on top with a 4-1 victory. The barn was packed with fans and the hockey was great. Scoring a hat tick in the first period for the Wolves was Jared Steege. The first goal was unassisted. The second and third goals were both assisted by Kelly Summers and Brett Mckenize. Scoring the fourth goal for the Wolves was Andrew McDonald. Scoring the only goal for the Pontiacs in the second period was Nicola Lacourse Dion. During the game the MV Wolves received nine penalties for hooking and tripping.
Also on Friday night the MV Wolves celebrated two dedicated players as they reached 50 games in the history of the MV Wolves. There was a big announcement for players Kelly Summers and Andrew McDonald.
Kelly is the team’s captain and Andrew is the General Manager of the Wolves
