Stanley Dennis Peplinski

December 12, 1953 – April 28, 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of Stanley
Dennis Peplinski announces his passing on Sunday
April 28, 2019 at the age of 65 years.
Stanley loved his family and his sports. He could
always be found watching or listening to Blue Jays or
Raptors games when he had the chance. When his
three sons were old enough, he could be found at
the Killaloe and Barry’s Bay ball fields cheering them
on and would always honk the horn from his vehicle
when a favourable play was made. Recently, he
had the chance to watch and cheer on his grandkids while they played
soccer, baseball and hockey.
Stanley spent 47 years working for Murray Bros Lumber Company in roles
that included softwood lumber grader and most recently at the weigh
scales. He enjoyed his roles at the mill and would often speak of how his
day went and the new things he learned. He was always looking for ways
to improve a process or assist in keeping things in order to make things
easier for his colleagues.
Stanley is lovingly remembered by his wife, Rita (nee Glofcheskie) and
their sons, Trevor, (Jackie), Scott (Shaunacey), and Brandon (Allison).
Stanley will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren,
Emma, Nolan, Sienna, Chase, Cecilia, Lucia and Augustus, and by his
sisters Rita (John) Hudder and Stella. He was predeceased by his parents
Peter Peplinksie and Annie Mary Yandernoll.
To the family and friends of the late Stanley, we wish to extend our sincere
thanks for your kindness, and for the condolences and support that we
have received. We also wish to thank the staff at St. Francis Memorial
Hospital, the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, and Dr. Dawes for the
wonderful care our family received over the years.
In memory of Stanley, donations to the St. Francis Memorial Hospital, the
University of Ottawa Heart Institute or St. Hedwig Catholic Church would
be appreciated.
