Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on scene at a serious two-vehicle collision on Highway 17 west of Mountain Road in Whitewater Region Township. A passenger vehicle and tractor trailer unit are involved in the collision that occurred just before noon.
Local detours are in place with westbound traffic being detoured at Mountain Road from Highway 17. Eastbound traffic is being detoured at Whitewater Road from Highway 17. Motorists are advised to expect delays as the investigation continues. Updates will be provided as they become available.
