On February 12th, 2020 the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) advised Catholic school boards that it would be engaging in a 1-day full withdrawal of services on Friday, February 21st, 2020.
As a result, unless an agreement is reached prior to this date, all Renfrew County Catholic District School Board classes will be cancelled and schools will be closed on Friday, February 21, 2020.
We will endeavour to communicate promptly as information becomes available on the Board’s social media platforms (Twitter, Board Website, Facebook) and through media releases as information becomes available to us. We continue to hope that a negotiated settlement will be reached by the parties at the central bargaining table.
