QUADEVILLE – An excellent day was had by all who participated in the Madawaska Valley Fish and Game Club annual Poker Run fundraiser on February 23.
MVFGC President Iris Kauffeldt said she and husband Wayne Kauffeldt, Danny Kauffeldt, Mel Kauffeldt and Cliff Stevens all contributed to grooming the trails, while she and Wayne ensured they were clearly marked.
Rob and Cecilia Buelow, who live near Eganville, were stopped with their group early on in the run when a tie rod end snapped off in front of their Polaris RZR (Razor) machine.
