BARRY’S BAY – More than 220 people turned up for the annual St. Patrick’s Day party on March 15.
Organized by the Madawaska Valley Lions Club, the dance is a major fundraiser for the Lions.
The Kelly band kept the audience entertained during the evening and people were awarded various prizes throughout the night.
Camille Conway received the second door prize, a Crockpot, donated by V&S Stedmans. Tracey Pecarski won a $50 gift card donated by Ash Grove. Tommy and Veronica O’Reilly won a $42 gift card from Spectacle Lake Lodge.
Jim Haskins received the best-dressed award and a $10 gift card to the Baykery. Don Isbister came in second place in the best-dressed category.
