Diet is a four-letter word

BARRY’S BAY – It’s January. Time for new beginnings.
Most of us have just come from a month – and I am understating here – of overindulgence of every kind, eating and drinking with abandon at a whirlwind of parties, dinners and family get-togethers.

We all got away with it – for a while – but now the clothes are a little snug, the energy has gone AWOL and decision time has arrived to ‘do something about it.’

But where do you start? There are so many options out there. Some are safe, some are just plain silly. How do you tell the difference and choose the right method that will lead to your success.

The first step should be a consultation with your health care professional. There may be some things to be cautious about, depending on the state of your health. Once you get the stamp of approval from your doctor, you can forge ahead on your journey to being a ‘loser’.
