COMBERMERE – On the morning of July 2, Ray Pastway announced, Pastway Planing Ltd. has officially been sold after 34 years.
CanWel Building Materials Group Ltd., in a recent press release, announced they have acquired 100 per cent of all outstanding shares privately held by Pastway Planing Ltd.
For CanWel, this means the organization’s assets now include six operating treating plants, three planer facilities and 18 distribution centres across Canada.
For the local Combermere facility, it’s unknown at this time what the new changes in ownership will mean.
