Big goals, big prizes in upcoming Online Auction for local healthcare

BARRY’S BAY – Every year Rosanne Hoffman sets a lofty goal for the annual online auction, and every year, that goal has been exceeded thanks to the generous support of the bidders in the community
and beyond.

One-hundred per cent volunteer driven, the fifth annual online auction is once again raising funds for local healthcare, including the purchase of a new defibrillator unit for St. Francis Memorial Hospital. These are lifesaving devices that are used in emergency situations to correct an uneven heartbeat in a patient.
Hoffman has spent the last four months chatting with individuals and business owners, and inspiring donations for the online auction. As she has done in the past, Hoffman has secured an amazing array of items that everyone is encouraged to bid on.

Some of the hot items include an outdoor movie night, various types of artwork from local artisans, a paddleboard, cash, gift cards and gift baskets, quilts, an iPad, Deerhurst and Wolf Ridge golf packages, a king-sized adjustable bed and so much more.
