Agnes Margaret Pecarskie (nee Murach)

June 9, 1924-September 28, 2018

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 28, 2018, in her 95th year.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Pecarskie. Loving mother to Doreen Dombroskie (Edward deceased), and Michael. Proud grandmother to Shelley Mask (Greg), Chris Dromboskie (Lisa), Matthew Pecarskie (Kelsey), Mark Pecarskie (Kelsie), James Pecarskie (Brittany), and Hilary Pecarskie (Byron). Great grandmother to Riley and Carley Mask, Nash and Edward Dombroskie, and Ava Nolting.
The funeral mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Hedwig’s Catholic church on October 2, 2018. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Chris Dombroskie, Mark and James Pecarskie, Greg Mask and nephews Tony and Michael Murack.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ray Dawes for his commitment to Agnes’ health; the workers at Barry’s Bay supportive housing for keeping Agnes company during the last seven years; Heubner Funeral Home for their assistance with Agnes’ final arrangements; Father Pawel Ratjczak, the Sacred Heart League and the Catholic Women’s League for their prayers at the funeral home; Father Mervin Coulas, Deacon Chabot, the altar boys and Julia Canon and choir for the beautiful service and Andrea Budrick for the lovely lunch.
Agnes was well-known throughout her life for her dedication to her family, her church and her hospital, St. Francis Memorial. She had a passion for knitting socks and playing Bingo.
She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
May God grant her peace.
