BARRY’S BAY – Saturday June 24, 2017 was a special day on the largest island on Kamaniskeg Lake, in Barry’s Bay.
Not many families are able to stay rooted in the same place for a hundred years but that is what a prominent area family were celebrating on Mask Island.
Paul B. Mask, with his wife Mary Anne (Biernacki) bought the whole island in November 1917. June 24, was the date chosen for the family celebration as it marked the couples wedding anniversary.
