Following the regular council meeting on December 17, council held a ceremony to award several employees and volunteer firefighters with service awards. These awards, along with a cash bonus, go to employees who have been with the township for set number of years.
Recipients include Amanda Hudder (10 years), Richard Palubeskie (10 years), Mike Hubers (10 years), Julie Villeneuve (10 years), Silas Lorbetski (20 years), James Shalla (25 years), and Basil Etmanskie (30 years).
Mayor Kim Love also presented seals of recognition for years with the Renfrew County Clerks and Treasurers Association to CAO Sue Klatt (15 years) and Gwen Dombroskie (10 years.)
