Opeongo Seniors Centre celebrates hard work of its volunteers

BARRY’S BAY – On June 8, the Opeongo Seniors Centre was the location as the Barry’s Bay and Area Senior Citizens Home Support Services celebrated the hard work of its volunteers with their annual volunteer luncheon.

The afternoon gave the opportunity for the organization to show its appreciation for the volunteers who give there free time to help people in the community. Over this past year, the volunteer drivers put in over 194,700 km in volunteer km driven. In total volunteer hours the Barry’s Bay and Area Senior Citizen Home and Support Services spent 5,888 hours helping in the community.
