Opeongo Players Podcast records first episode

BARRY’S BAY – On March 13, the Opeongo Players recorded one of their first live podcasts at the Barry’s Bay and Area Public Library. On this particular day, Mark Woermke and Karen Filipkowski narrated as the remaining seven ‘players’ read shorts stories from a number of authors including Robert Lewis Stevenson and Beatrix Potter. The readers pulled short excerpts from the author’s works and read them to the audience. During the March Break, the group performed a number of different times, with the readings being aimed at different ages and demographics. The Opeongo Players Podcast are a group of spoken word performers, who will perform podcast to inform and entertain audiences of all ages. For more pick up a copy of the March 21, paper.
