The old school building in Round Lake Centre has been transformed and made into a beautiful mix-used space for both locals and visitors to enjoy.

Open 8am to 6pm daily, Eva’s Cafe offers a wide variety of delicious foods including daily chef’s specials, fresh baked pastries w/ gluten free options available, coffee & espresso drinks…a little something
for everyone.

Eva Kiss and her family came to the Ottawa Valley three years ago from Toronto, though originally hailing from Hungary. Eva relocated to the area in the hopes of growing a new business and making a valuable contribution to her community.

“Our building used to be a school that was abandoned for years; we decided to bring it back to life! We are just at the corner of the Algonquin Park. Nature is waiting for you to discover all year,” said Ms. Kiss.
The rest of the schoolhouse has been converted into a well appointed AirBnB space, with wi-fi, cable, hot tub, outdoor BBQ and gazebo. Rates and availability details can be found online or call 613-412-8640 ext: 101.

In the summer time, guests can enjoy all that the lake has to offer; swimming, various water sports, and the Round Lake public boat launch is just 2 minutes away. During the winter months, there is an abundance of snowmobile and cross country skiing trails close by. Bonnechere Provincial Park is also only a 5-minute drive away!
