MV Wolves boy junior team tangles with the Wild Cats

BARRY’S BAY – In their second home game of the season, Wolves junior boys  put up a spirited performance against Opeongo Wild Cats.

The Wolves had a slow start to the game going down 3 baskets to 1 in the first three minutes and ending the first quarter 11-6 in the visitors favour.

The home team was undaunted by the visitor’s first quarter lead and managed to outscore them in the second quarter in what was their best quarter.

Spencer Ryan scored three baskets in the second. Cutter Lacombe and Gavin Gulick each scored a three pointer. In total during the second period, the Wolves scored 16 points to Opeongo’s 13, which brought the Wolves back into the game.
