MV swim program comes to the end

BARRY’S BAY – It was a bittersweet gathering at the Kamaniskeg Lake as more than 50 kids gathered for the annual end-of-summer party.

While the party recognizes the achievements of the swimmers over the past month, it also marks the countdown until the first day of school.

Some of the awards were handed out during the event. Catherine Schingten earned herself the Most Improved Swimmer Award, and Katia and Anna Tesluk of Level 7 in Combermere received an award for having the Longest Treading time.
