MV Falcons rout Ottawa EOHA

BARRY’S BAY After a 14-4 loss on the road to the Bracebridge Pioneers on Saturday night, the Madawaska Valley Falcons were looking for a good result when they returned home on Sunday to play Ottawa EOHA.

It took the Falcons all of seven minutes to score their first goal, but then scored three in four minutes to take the score to 4-0.

MV Falcons’ captain Brandon Wadden scored three goals and an assist on those first goals. The Falcons’ sensation went on to score a total of eight goals and two assists.

It took the away side 18 minutes to get onto the scoresheet when they were short-handed for a tripping call. Then, seven seconds from the end of the first period Ottawa left wing, Noah Edmonds scored on a penalty making the score 4-2.
