Anthony (Tony) Lorbetskie passed away peacefully
on Saturday September 14, 2019 at the
Madawaska Valley Hospice at the age of 85.
Born in Round Lake on Feb 5, 1934 to the late
Peter and Annie Lorbetskie. Tony is survived by
his siblings Mary (late Ambrose Visutskie), Bronis
(Marie), Theresa (late Alex Pierunek), Dorothy
(late Clarence Prince), and Esther (late
Michael Pierunek). He is predeceased by his
siblings Martha (late Ambrose Zilney), Bella (late
John Sotnyek), Annie (late Sylvester Recoskie),
Rose (late Bert Sutcliffe) and Isadore (Agnes).
Tony will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. He
will also be greatly missed by all of his care givers and friends at
Madawaska Valley Community Group Home which was his home for
the last 30 years. Although challenged, Tony enjoyed life to the fullest.
He will be laid to rest alongside his parents. May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S ,
Renfrew on Tuesday September 17th from 2-4, 7-9 pm and after
12 noon Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
at St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew on Wednesday at 2:00 pm.
Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Those desiring may make
