L and M Service Centre welcomes new mechanic

BARRY’S BAY – There’s a new mechanic in town just in time for the new year.

L and M Service Centre, located at the Barry’s Bay Shell on Highway 62, welcomed licensed mechanic Eric Blank. His first day was January 2.

Blank is no stranger to the area. He’s the son of Michael and Betty Blank of Wilno, and worked in a Combermere garage for the past six years.

During his apprenticeship years, Blank attended Loyalist College in Belleville. He said he has always wanted to work with vehicles.

“It was something that kept me out of trouble,” he laughed.

Blank said that he wanted to branch out and try a new adventure, and the new year seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so. He added that he is looking forward to the new adventure.

Being a fully licensed mechanic, Blank can offer a variety of services on vehicles ranging from maintenance, diagnostic testing, repairs and inspections.
