COMBERMERE – If you are a kid, then the Combermere recreation centre was the place to be on December 1.
That afternoon, the hall was filled to the brim with giggling children, eager to meet Santa Claus. But first, thanks to the Combermere recreation committee, they enjoyed snacks, crafts and some free hot dogs, too.
Committee member Rita McLean was thrilled with the turnout.
“It was wonderful to see the many children, of all ages enjoying themselves so much at our children’s Christmas party on Sunday,” McLean said. “Their smiles and laughter lit up the whole room.”
