George Vanier trivia night fills school with laughter

COMBERMERE – Ten teams turned out on a damp April 26 evening to participate in the George Vanier Catholic School (GVCS) trivia night.

It was an evening of laughter with new and repeat teams sharing their skills in the seventh annual contest of wits.

The winners this year were the team called Not Dead Yet, who earned a total of 69 points.

Proceeds from the fundraiser just exceeded $1,000 and will be used to help student activities at the school.

One of the events the funding will help is the Grade 5-8 class trip to Sudbury where they will be staying overnight at the Science North Museum and visiting Dynamic Earth.
