BARRY’S BAY – George Vanier Catholic School hosted their fifth annual trivia night on April 24.
Around 10 teams took part in the evening’s events, which ended with a tie between two of those teams, the Readers’ Choice and the Trumpers.
After an intense tiebreaker, the winners of the trivia night were the Readers’ Choice. All money raised from the evening’s events will go towards students bussing costs for tournaments and activities.
George Vanier would like to thank MPP for Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke John Yakabuski for being the emcee of the event along with singing the national anthem to kick of the event.
They would also like to thank Palmer and Area Lions Clubs for their donations towards the healthy snack program.
