On December 1, 2016 at approximately 11:03 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police responded to a serious single vehicle collision on Highway # 60, North Algona Wilberforce Twp.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigators, (TTCI) are attending the scene to assist with the investigation. This collision involved one vehicle and one driver. There is one reported fatality.
As a result, Highway # 60 East from Round Lake Road to Chapel Lane will remain closed while police continue with this investigation. Police are urging motorists to use the Round Lake Road detour, and Highway # 41 access via Highway # 60. Police are advising Highway # 60 will be closed for an undetermined time period while the investigation is underway.
