BARRY’S BAY- The seventh annual KAPOA Poker run took place on July 27.

This year, the poker run was renamed to The Bob Millar Memorial Poker Run in honour of a founding member who past away in 2018.

The day got underway with the boats registering at the Barry’s Bay boat launch at approx 10 a.m.

Once the boaters registered, they were on their way to collect seven cards in hope to get the best poker hand.

The docks were spread out between Barry’s Bay, Black Fish Bay, Negeek Lake and the final dock was at Hinterland Beach. The boaters later on in the day met up at the Bent Anchor Bar and Grill for a BBQ and the handing out of prizes.
