Annual flower and veggie show brightens up the Valley

BARRY’S BAY – There were many familiar and some unusually delightful entries at the annual flower and veggie show this year. On August 17, the Madawaska Valley Horticulture showcased the labour of love from local green thumbs in the flower and veggie show. Entries ranged from peas and carrots to begonias and sunrise pokers. Organizer Nola Leroux said the event was well attended and there were 27 exhibitors this year.
