Barry’s Bay Minor Hockey Association featured on Ottawa 67’s special jersey

OTTAWA – On March 10, the Ottawa 67’s and the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) faced off at TD Place in Ottawa. This wasn’t just a normal Saturday afternoon hockey game. This was the 67’s annual ‘Prospects Game’ and during this game, the 67’s wore some special jerseys. These jerseys featured the names of a number of minor hockey organizations in the Ottawa area and included as one of those organizations was the Barry’s Bay and Area Minor Hockey Association. They are one of the over 80 minor hockey associations who are involved in this program. The 67’s have a close relationship with Hockey Eastern Ontario and through this, the 67’s Prospects Program was created. This was the idea behind what created the ‘Prospects Game’. Barry’s Bay and Area Minor Hockey is one of the over 80 local organizations who are partnered with this OHL hockey club.
