The Lions Club fun for St. Paddy’s Day

BARRY’S BAY – On the evening of March 18, the Barry’s Bay Legion was as green as a Madawaska Spring; the Lion’s Club organized a celebration to honour St. Patrick.

It was a chance for everyone to dress in the finest greens and respect the Irish heritage of the area.

As well as dressing up, the crowd was entertained by the Irish Kelly Band.

Local dancers from around Renfrew County performed various styles of Irish and Celtic dancing.

As well as many door prizes donated by local businesses there were prizes for the best costume and the best dancers.
