BARRY’S BAY – With Remembrance Day fast approaching, the annual Poppy Campaign for the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 406, Barry’s Bay, has begun with the presentation of the First Poppy to Her Honour Mayor Kim Love by RCL Branch 406 poppy chairmen, Major Michael J. Conway.
The annual poppy fundraiser kicks off officially on Friday, October 28. Over the coming days, volunteers will canvass the service area and deliver Poppy Donation boxes to participating local businesses.
