BARRY’S BAY – An unidentified local woman is in custody following a domestic assault that occurred on January 19 in Barry’s Bay.
At around 7:50 p.m. that night, members of the Killaloe OPP detachment responded to a report of an injured male in hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries as a result of a domestic assault.
The Renfrew County Crime Unit was called in to assist with the investigation. A police cruiser and a forensics van were seen outside a residence on Dunn Street in Barry’s Bay on January 20.
