PALMER RAPIDS – The 33rd Annual Palmer Rapids Festival, got under way, this past July 25 with the seventh annual idol contest. There were nine contestants, who gave it their all to vie for the title of Palmer Idol 2013.
On the country stage, on Friday night, the Idol results were announced.
Runners-up in order, were Stumpin Jon from Trenton Ontario, Hailey Phoenix for Norland Ontario and this years’ Idol winner was Dave Bourtski from Bancroft. Bourtski told the crowd he was very proud to have won the title.
