PALMER RAPIDS – It was a scene of excitement and emotion as students, parents and friends gathered and said good-bye and good luck to the Destination Imagination (DI) crew.
A nation-wide non-profit organization, DI is the world’s largest creative problem-solving program and competition.
In April the group from Palmer Rapids Public School called D.I. Eye on the Prize, performed in the In Disguise category at a provincial competition in Toronto. They were thrilled to place first in their division, earning them a spot to compete at the Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee, and so began a few weeks of ambitious fundraising and organizing for the trip.
