PETAWAWA– The 2017 OFSAA (Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations) Cross Country Provincial Championships took place at the Petawawa Golf Club course on November 4. According to Madawaska Valley District High School (MVDHS) Co-coach Paul Thompson, MVDHS seniors Jonathan Stoppa and Laura Yantha both competed against fields of 285 of the best runners from across Ontario.
“This is a very competitive event. Laura and Jonathan have made the Valley proud with their outstanding performances,” Thompson said.
